She's Mad At Me

She's Mad At Me

by John S LES

She's mad at me, it was plain to see,
because her anger was stifling
there's nothing I can say that will make it right
But I will try even if it takes all night

They say Hell has no fury like a woman scorned
My father taught me that from the day I'm born
But this here is not that serious
It's an old argument between the two of us
At the end of the day I was wrong
She tried to tell me, but I took too long...
In seeing her side
I've got to give up my pride...
And apologize...
Make her angry and sad eyes...
Smile again.
